“A lot of reviews for this house were quite bad. This is the review of the room we had on the ground floor.
Massive room & bathroom. Shower for less able people & a lovely big bath. Everywhere was spotless. We had a 6 foot bed that was very comfortable. Yes, the wallpaper was old & stained but this house is very old & must take a great deal of upkeep. The dining room was lovely, as was the breakfast
Our friends had the room next door & their opinion was the same as ours. All 4 of us would……

“This is absolutely one of the best hotel stays I’ve had and I have travelled all over the world.
The hotel itself is absolutely stunning and location is beautiful. The spa downstairs is nothing short of amazing .
But absolutely the most amazing thing about this hotel is from the moment you arrive you feel like you’re staying with family. I went downstairs in the evening to ask for some cutlery and the receptionist said hello Nicki how can I help you? I was so surprised that she remembered my……
