「We stayed here for a night to break up a journey up north, and had a lovely stay. The property is close enough to key motorways but in a very tranquil setting in the country. We appreciated the car charging, nice restaurants, the swimming pool with family time, good quality breakfast and friendliness of staff.」

「The Ettington Park hotel is an extraordinary English Family Castle with a great & long history. Our stay in this hotel was extremely comfortable and relaxed. Despite belated arrival at night, we were all welcomed by their staff with thoughfully arranged dinner & wine & porter services of many bulk luggage. 「The place is very nice and cleaned. The spa should be a little refreshed. The pool beds were broken and steam room very outdated. Aside to this, breakfast was fantastic with good quality food and wide variety from sweet to savory. Also dinner at the Shakespeare restaurant was good.」

They should be serving barista made drinks with breakfast rather than having queues at an instant machine. Some people were ordering from menus, others weren’t. The staff seemed very stressed. 「As a solo traveller it is not a place I would ever stay at again. In fact left a day early as made to feel not welcome. Cleaning staff lovely. Foyer, outside seating and bar very nice. I expect it is fine if you are golfers, a group/ couple. Carpets very dirty, no signal on lower ground where I was, rooms adequate, though hot.」
