“Staff were lovely, the room was nice however not maintained to a five star standard as an armchair was heavily stained in the room and general upkeep could have been better. The bed was huge and very comfortable. The grounds are lovely, spa was nice. Breakfast was ok, nothing special. Staff all friendly and helpful. “The hotel is very nice, and the rooms were spacious. The lack of AC was a problem during the hear wave.”

“The hotel is a great hotel situated well for all the sites in Stratford. My concern and found it unbelievable that they ask you to help out with the planet and participate in using towels sensibly and I think that is great, but the bathroom towel rail is on 24/7 and in a heat wave as it was when we stayed it is very very uncomfortable, I asked at reception but unfortunately can’t be turned off in any of the rooms. CRAZY”

“No air conditioning, despite being advertised as having it, waited 40 minutes to check in with no apologies and when I got into the room, on the hottest day of the year, the room was 48 degrees with a window that opened two inches!!! I requested a full refund from the duty manager who didn’t seem to care at all and kept us waiting another 40 minutes before arguing that because I bought it through Expedia there was nothing he could do. I got Expedia on the phone who confirmed I had paid at the……

“Lovely property. Front desk staff very helpful. Requested housecoats and slippers, slippers never came, housecoats was the rattiest thing I have seen, would fit a child and both had no ties. I stayed two days and they never vacuumed my room and there was a spider on the ceiling and a huge cobweb in the window that I cleaned. I had to ask three different people to fix the safe before it was fixed. Dining staff was extremely slow with picking up dishes and the food was not very flavourful for……
