“Recently refurbished to a high standard this 8 roomed hotel was a pleasant one night stopover for us. Our room was clean & comfortable, although the ceiling fan was pretty useless in the hot weather. It may have needed adjusting but there was no information about it in the room! The dividing room walls do not prevent all the noise from the adjoining room from being heard. The bar and dining area was spacious and there were plenty of staff providing good friendly service. We had a lovely……

“All staff were first class nothing was to much trouble,food was good,breakfast was the best,room was clean, very hot but could not keep windows open due to a extractor very close and running until food not being cooked and kitchens cleaned then the music well not our taste but loud so no early to bed, then of course breakfast start up so extractor starts again so early rise even if you don't want it,then the toilet seat broke, was fixed while out, other little things no where to hang wet……

“Absolutely lovely stay very homely, comfy, clean lovely b and b , host Alan very knowledgable of local area, and a great cook ! We had a great nights sleep in a comfy bed , no problem parking which was a relief and will definitely return again”

“Everything good. Only minor issues were the shower had no hooks or shelves to put shampoo or shower gel or flanels/scrubbing. And the cooling fan in our room was super noisy, so couldn't be used. As I say, minor.”

“Stayed in the Moon Gazer gypsy caravan. It has ‘lived’ but is cute, quirky and the bed/bedding was lovely. Quiet and private with a bird song orchestra we had lovely weekend drinking locally brewed ale/cider and listening to local ‘turn up and play’ folk musicians. Superb weekend all round.”

“A beautiful, quiet place to stay outside of Stratford upon Avon. We walked into town or took the bus. We enjoyed it very much.”

“The parking was good, off from the road, car was secure. The hostess was great, and very friendly. Room and bathroom could have been cleaner, dust all over the covered garbage bin in bathroom, huge cobweb in corner, and large peeling area on wall of bathroom. Large cobwebs at top of one window. No electrical outlet by beds, major frustration because husband uses CPAP machine to sleep. Continental breakfast was good, lots of fruit. Temperature of water hard to control in shower. No washcloths……

“Check in could be improved. Arrived to a busy pub with customers waiting for service at the bar and no designated check in desk. Several staff just walked past us with our bags and no one acknowledged we were trying to check in for several minutes. The room was okay but not as shown on our booking confirmation - it was an attic room with very steep stairs and a not very safe landing area outside the door. The bathroom had been shoehorned in under a sloping ceiling - there was no shower, just……

“Achtung, wir konnten unser Elektroauto laden, allerdings wurden uns am Ende 0,75£ / kw/h verrechnet! Das ist natürlich viel zu viel für eine Wallbox. Zugegebenermaßen haben wir im Vorfeld nicht nach dem Preis gefragt, wir haben mit so einem Wucher aber auch einfach nicht gerechnet. Daher ein Stern Abzug. Ansonsten eine gemütliche, saubere Unterkunft. Das Zimmer war ruhig in Richtung Garten. Das Frühstück war gut. Das Stadtzentrum ist sehr gut fußläufig erreichbar.”

“Such a lovely location, hotel & grounds are beautiful. We stayed 2 nights, had incredible spa treatments, chilled by the pool & enjoyed dinner both evenings in Stuart restaurant. All staff were welcoming & friendly Breakfast is self service & has all the usual on offer. Quite reasonable at £16 each. Our room only rate of £200 per night was good value but be aware our final bill was over £1000. We did enjoy the cocktails & wine list though 😀”
