Embrace the soothing trade winds & let the ocean breeze carry your worries away
8/10 Good
"I am a local so what I needed was a place to stay while my house was being termite tented. It covered that just fine. It rained all the time I was there but I had lived in Akolea Plantation at one time so knew what to expect. I liked the remote area."
Royal Palm Cottage/5 mins from beach/Akaka Falls/Private Lanai
10/10 Excellent
"Parking was so easy. The cottage is as clean as can be. Our hosts responded to every question in the most rapid and helpful way. We left something behind but their rapid communications really saved our trip. Top marks all around. "
River View Family House with a Full Kitchen (No Cleaning Fee)
2/10 Terrible
"I didnt actually get to stay here so I cant speak to any of the amenities. Host was reasonably communicative but I never received the email or text messages with check in instructions and was left without a place to stay at 9pm. VRBO assistance helped me cancel and book a backup which was a flawless process but the host then claimed the booking was cancelled due to an age related policy even though I’m 30…. You would think that would have prevented me from booking the reservation in the first place instead of cancelling out from under me and only giving me 75% of my refund but is what it is. The place looked awesome and really would have liked to stay here but terrible experience overall."
Beautiful ocean views located minutes away from Waipio Valley

"This little studio apartment was the perfect place for our getaway. The property it's beautiful, the apartment is clean, comfortable, and has a very authentic Hawaiian feel. Watching the sunrise from the outside kitchen in the mornings, listening to the birds while drinking your coffee... wow, just wow! Definitely an unbeatable experience. The hosts, Adelina and Buzz are gracious, helpful and friendly, but not intrusive in anyway. Can't wait to stay here again. "
"This is a very nice place to stay. Close to shopping, Starbucks, Foodliner and restaurants. Tucked just off the main road into Waimea. Very friendly staff. Clean, airy room. All recently remodeled."
