“Our stay at Josie’s Snug was so perfect and exactly what we were looking for/needed! Adam was really helpful with communicating up to our stay and Jenny could not do enough to make sure our stay was complete when we forgot a few bits! We took the train in and grabbed a taxi up which was no trouble. The additional touches of croissant and jam and bathrobes were very welcomed. The hot tub was incredible. The room was spacious with a very comfortable bed. And the lake - what can I say? It was the……

“I had incorrectly booked the wrong dates foe my stay at this property which was a non refunderable booking with no option to alter or cancel. I contacted Hotels.com whpbafter speaking with the owners arranged my booking to be moved to the actual dates i required free of charge. The owners were under no obligation to do this but still allowed it without chargine me. I am very greatful for this as it was my error in the first place. “A gorgeous ancient (C16th?) house in a peaceful hamlet with lovely new floors/bathrooms etc. The weather was hot so our favourite thing was the big wooden table and comfortable chairs outside under a beautiful grapevine, felt like being in the South of France!”

“The location was great near a park and the main shopping area. Overall the house was good for a family to stay but some of the kitchen dishes and bedding/towels were not clean. The house also wasn’t equipped with disposables - no extra toilet paper, no paper towel, no extra kitchen garbage bags.”
