「Place excellent great staff nice food only problem was there was no chair in my room if you lay on the bed you fall asleep but great place」

「Clean and tidy overall. Staff are attentive and professional. However, rooms facing the carpark were noisy overnight. I need asking for changing my room to the other side of the hotel.」

「Young Katy and her team are doing a great job! Really good value motel at a service station - one of the best I've stayed in. If you're on a budget this would be an ideal place to stay for a visit to Chester: friendly, welcoming, loads of parking (!) including electric charging right outside. Comfortable room, dog friendly (laminate flooring). The only thing missing is a towel rail in the bathroom! I'd stay again (always the best recommendation!)」

「Aside from a member of staff called Kane who was exceptionally helpful, our experience for a birthday break was beyond disappointing. We initially stayed at the sister property The Swan in Tarporley where staff were outstanding but at The Lion we were greeted in what can only be described as very patronising, unwelcoming and brusque, by who we understand to be Beth. We were shown to a room that was classed as executive but had clearly had a major leak in the bathroom as paint was peeling away...

「bed was lovely and quite firm, which I liked.」

「Amazing and super friendly staff」

「Lovely setting, with a variety of ways to stay.」

「quite noizy for the room located on the road side, even after close the window. Luckily the staff in the frant desk was very kind to exchange our room close to the less noizy corner. Otherwise this is a very good choice hotel in terms of CP value. 」

「Beyond disappointing. We previously stayed initially for one night when travelling for business and the stay was so exemplary we booked for my birthday and for four nights - two at The Swan and two at The Lion in Malpas. We booked again an executive room but what a very different experience from Room 10! Initially shown to room 16 which was freezing cold in the room and bathroom. The room itself was so much smaller than room 10 and not what we would consider an executive room in comparison. The...

「一座真真正正的城堡，不是那种只有造型的假货。卫生可以，床很舒适，但其一间房间有点小，早餐选择多，味道不错。」

「Cooks Flat is a great find in Wrexham! Tranquil, peaceful and beautiful walks on the property. What a treat to stay on a private estate and visit the Victorian kitchen and games room. I appreciated the welcome gifts and hospitality from the hosts too. Would definitely stay again next time I’m in the area.」

「I wish I have chance to visit the hotel but I didn't due to booking mistake. The Hotels.com and hotel staff are helping me for the cancellation refund and I hope to have further progress since there is not much new so far.」

「Nice reception staff, lovely surroundings, great food and good service & recommendations by Joel at hotel restaurant.」
