"Lovely room, very thoughtfully laid out. Lovely shower and toilet. Bed very comfortable. Hotel was very elegant and the bakery was amazing. We got 5000 yen hotel vouchers to spend and got some great things from the bakery. Lots of other amenities such as laundry room and gym which looked very modern but we don’t use as we prefer running outside and didn’t need to wash anything! The rooftop bar is lovely also and they provide heaters, blankets and hand warmers when it’s 5 degrees (but preferable to not be outside despite this…) Overall, a lovely hotel in a decent location - short walks to subway and Gion district. Would’ve loved to have stayed one more night! "

"Stay for 5 nights, room was spicous and clean. Staff was friendly, professional, fantastic. Amenity was good in quality and had a lots of choices.. The breakfast buffet, afternoon tea, happy hour lounge also are top notch. For sure I will stay again. The experience of this Richmond Hotel in Kyoto is much better than the one in Narita which I stay in December of 2024."

The room was spotless and the staff were friendly and helpful. It was located very close to a train station and within an easy walk to numerous bus stops. "
