"Four of us stayed in one of the bunk rooms. The hotel, staff and rooms all got top marks. Each bunk alcove felt private, and the flow of the room accommodated both privacy and conversation without feeling small. The sink is in the main room and the bath and shower in another so four of use could all get ready pretty quickly without hogging the bathroom. The only down side was that the door to the toilet/shower is a slider and doesn't offer much privacy. Other than that, highly recommend this hotel. Location was perfect."
Though entrance is generally restricted, looking in on Manhattan’s last remaining private park reveals 19th-century glamour and big city neighborliness.
