「Albergo Sala was a unique experience in the small village of Valbrona. It was quiet and not much to do but that's what we were looking for. The staff were excellent and very helpful and the food was wonderful. The inn is historic and has been in the family for a few hundred years! As it is off the beaten track it is advisable to have a car as public transport is infrequent and challenging and taxi service is quite expensive. Aside from that it was a great place to stay a few days.」

「Grossartiges Hotel mit perfekter Lage im malerischen Menaggio. Das Hotelgebäude selbst wunderschön, die Zimmer sind geräumig und luxuriös, mit toller Aussicht. Der Spa-Bereich ist riesig. Das Frühstück mit Blick auf den See ein Erlebnis. Die Mitarbeiter sind unglaublich freundlich und erfüllen jeden Wunsch. Ein insgesamt grossartiger Aufenthalt, bei dem nichts hätte besser sein können.」

「We booked a room for 2, but an extra twin bed was already there, so we are given a room for 3. The room is classic, clean and comfortable, with good air conditioning (but only Reception can adjust the temperature ) The wooden floor squeaks when stepped on . During our stay the elevator was out of order for a few hours, but quickly fixed. Breakfast is decent. Overall very one here is very nice .」

「Loved our stay here. Such a cute villa with modern amenities but lots of historic charm. The included breakfast was excellent and the staff were very welcoming and helpful. Not too long of a walk from the train station or town center.」

「Fantastic hotel right on the water near the ferry. Beautiful and quiet little harbor away from the busy road. Quiet and comfortable attic room. Staff is friendly and helpful. Had a great dinner at the restaurant and the breakfasts may have been the best ever for an included meal. Would absolutely stay again and would recommend!👍」

「Es handelt sich hierbei um ein wirklich sehr schönes familiengeführtes Hotel. Das Hotel ist wunderschön am Berg mit Blick auf den See gelegen und besitzt eigene Parkplätze so wie auch Tiefgarage. Schon vor der Abreise waren die Besitzer und Mitarbeiter sehr sehr freundlich und dies bestätigte sich auch bei der An- und auch Abreise. Ein wirklich rundum perfektes Hotel, mit einem ganztägig in der Sonne liegenden Pool. Das gesamte Team ist sehr sehr aufmerksam und hilfsbereit! 」

Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir!」
