“We had a short stay at Al Porto di Lucca B&B as we were travelling back towards Pisa Airport to return home the following day. In an ideal position so close to the train station for ease of moving around Italy you can easily walk. Francesco and his wife were very welcoming and very accommodating. They gave us a hearty breakfast earlier than usual to accommodate our early flight back home. Our room was very comfortable and has everything we needed. The B&B is just a short walk into Lucca……

“B&B host was lovely, incredibly pleasant and helpful. Location is perfect for lucca, balcony opening up to main piazza was amazing. And sound proof doors for sleep, very silent. We loved our stay.”

“The rooms were very spacious and clean and the beds were vety comfortable. Everybody was so kind and helpful and the breakfast was delicious. My only regret was not being able to stay another night as we were traveling to Assisi the next day. The locat to Lucca was also perfect and tge drive into the walled city was less than two minutes. I can't say enough great things about our hostess and her mom. They we absolutely sweet and wonderful people. The next time, I will use La Chiuso Delle Monache……

“This hotel room was great! I loved the features and location great too! There is a cafe though under it and both nights were soooooo loud from 12-3am (maybe beyond). It seemed to be an area for locals to gather after the bar! I’m a deep sleeper and it kept be up so be wary.”

“this is a great place to stay with many extras that make it even nicer. Only small gripe was aircon wasnt allowed yet even though temp was warm, so was difficult to get a good nights sleep in 25C room or windows open with mosquitos. There was some policy about aircon that prevented its use yet. Otherwise this is awesome and we will stay again”

“Camera piccola ma confortevole, con un personale cortese e molto disponibile. L'hotel è situato in perfetto centro, distante 10 minuti dalla stazione a piedi. Vicinissimo ai monumenti più belli di Lucca, a bar ristoranti ecc. ”
