Hilton Phoenix Tapatio Cliffs Resort

6/10 Okay

"We enjoyed everything about our stay EXCEPT the parking. This is an extremely large property with most rooms up very steep hills. There is a significant shortage of parking when the resort is relatively full. The drive paths throughout the resort are very narrow and cars / trucks are parked everywhere outside of parking spaces because the parking is so limited and this makes it impossible to get by some of the vehicles. There doesn't appear to be any monitoring of the vehicles - how they are parked or if they have a parking pass. You pay $10 a day additional for parking yet you may not get a parking spot. I would not recommend this resort if you will have a car and want to come and go from the property or have issue with walking up hill for a distance to get to your room."

"Go to the room and the patio door wouldn’t shut all the way or lock so we had to wait for someone to come fix it. Patio table had a cup full of cigarette butts and beer bottle caps in it. Two bottle caps on the floor in the room as well. Parking is $15, resort fee is $30, no complementary breakfast but they have a buffet for $27 a person, alcoholic drinks will run about $15 each before tip. Pool is not regulated by staff so no one is checking wristbands to ensure it’s only resort guests there. We didn’t put ours on and saw at least a dozen staff who said nothing. I would imagine this is well known in the area and locals are just wandering in to use the pool during the day. Also, I had $20 in charges from the bar on my room that were not mine. It was my room number but a different name. Luckily the front desk took care of it. Staff is friendly but I doubt I will stay here again."

"Talking Stick Is Everything!! If you want a couples get away or a family vacation it’s the perfect place. Plenty of entertainment In & around Resort. Top Golf, Aquarium, food, shopping plaza. But the check in so easy & the staff is Great room service, valet, bellhops & etc great food/restaurants. If we’re ever In the Phoenix/Scottsdale area this will be where we stay every time. Made my 40th Birthday Trip Amazing"
