Did you know that there's an Egyptian temple in the middle of Madrid? No, I'm not making this up!

Basically, it was given to the Spanish government as a thank you for helping save some temples in Egypt. The temple was shipped over and rebuilt in Madrid in the late 60s. It's one of very few pieces of ancient Egyptian architecture you can see outside of Egypt.

But apart from all the history, the temple is also a great place to enjoy a picnic with friends. It's in the middle of a park, and it gives you one of the best views of the sunset in Madrid.

Air conditioning only functions to warm the room but not to cool it down. In March, our 25th story room was too hot for my wife to sleep comfortably. Summer may be hard to bear for some. All night parties on the roof also kept us up at night due to noise. We had our windows open for temperature regulation ...
