“Very disappointing stay. I expected much more from Octant, especially for a hotel in this price range. The outdoor pool was essentially unusable because it was not heated. The indoor pool was a joke—it was tiny and not really large enough to swim in. On top of that, you need to make a reservation to use the indoor pool and spa. There is no way to make a reservation online or from the room; you have to call or physically go to the front desk. This made using the facilities unnecessarily……

“This property was exceptional. The grounds were stunning - there’s a reason this place is a tourist destination. We felt incredibly lucky to actually be staying here. The wonder and atmosphere of the thermal pools cannot be overstated. At night, in the warmth of the pool, if the mist isn’t too heavy, the star-gazing is fantastic. I traveled there with my 12-year-old daughter and the staff gave us an adult- and a petite, child-sized robe. She was thrilled! After a day of canyoning, coming back……

“Location was excellent, close to restaurants and shops. Rooms could use a fresh coat of paint and faucets could be replaced. Overall, it was a little old and tired.”

“The hotel is well located with plenty of on site parking, 10-12 minute walk to the center. The staff was super helpful. Breakfast was okay. WiFi was good. The room was clean and the bathroom was great. The bed was super comfortable.”
