“Booked the room via VRBO; so our room would be cleaned if we paid another fee, as well as a decent parking fee, and a resort fee on the way out. And it was barely stocked - two plates two spoons etc. The check in process was a nightmare via email texts and calls. Despite multiple attempts, I ended up standing at the door for 30 minutes waiting for help as the front desk was empty. The attendant returned and was so rude to my colleague she was nearly in tears. “Bleach odor was over-powering and gave us a headache!!Check-in process was not communicated via VRBO app as promised which required me to contact them via multiple phone calls and emails, creating undue stress. “Upon arrival, the room was in decent condition. They do not clean your room daily even with the option to “please service room” on the door. Clean towels had to be requested. A coffee machine with only 2 pods available and we were told that’s all they give you. When the toilet was broken there was nobody available to fix it, we were told it could be fixed the following day by an answering service which was no help at all - this was not only an inconvenience seeing as that’s a basic necessity……

“Jennie at the bar for breakfast, Jiovanna at the pool & Donte at the pool, as well as the gentleman at the beach who was taking orders and giving drinks - all exceptional. Made up for lack of customer service from other employees. Would wish they have microwaves in the rooms especially for families with younger kids who need to warm up milk? Made no sense to pay that much for a room and not have a microwave. The Ocean restaurant is insanely expensive for the food rating it has. Pool and……
