「We arrived in November and after reading reviews of other hotels in the area that were too cold for guests, we were delighted that our double room in the Waldorf was warm and cozy with a comfortable bed and a hot shower. We were also pleased that the Pleasure Beach Amusement Park was only a short walk away and hotel parking was included in the price. Most of all, we were extremely impressed at how accessible, friendly, helpful and accommodating Steve, the hotelier was. We had a wonderful stay...

「I like this hotel and use regularly on a monthly basis. Yes, it’s a dated hotel, but its a very charming reminder of the beauty it once was in its day. The staff are very helpful, polite and friendly. As a lone female traveler, I feel safe here. Any room requests etc, they happily oblige. 」

「Not our first stay at The Big Blue and won’t be our last. We had 2 double rooms and both were upgraded to deluxe at check in. The staff work really hard and are very friendly. Breakfast is amazing! 」

「It was quiet, lots of picturesque views of Blackpool Tower and the promenade and also of the Big One at Pleasure Beach in the distance. The location is ideal as it’s not in the middle of everything going on, staff were very polite and whilst there are facilities like the pool and Sauna etc we didn’t make use of during this stay we would definitely be inclined to make use of them on a future visit!」

「The staff slow as like a turtle, wait there already 30 minutes, but still need to wait for another 10 minutes. Every time I go to the reception, always have a long queue and just a few staff there and one of the staff is really SLOWWW , really can't understand why a hotel can have that slowly hospitality and even pride and prejudice」
