Hotel was easy to find very clean, front stairs were a bit steep, and the floors creaked a lot, overall very nice place only spoke to staff once and he was very friendly and helpful really enjoyed my visit

Basic but clean and comfortable. English breakfast was fantastic.
It was a change of booking this is nothing to do with the Sussex hotel.
The hotel I was originally booked for was shut down,it took 3 hours for Hotel.com to relocate me after various people left the line.
Luckily for me a gentleman helped me out and got the relocation
Hotel.com you made me miss the FA cup final shame on you

Hotel was a bit tired but clean and tidy and in a good location. Staff were really nice and helpful. would stay again.
Area is like the rest of Blackpool very tired looking. So much potential for renewal in a style becoming of what used to be a victorian gem.
Nice stay, room was good, I was on my own but would of been fine for two people too, shower easy( some hotels it’s like krypton factor trying to work them out) hotel owner was only seen a few times but was a laugh when did see him.nice quiet area, suitable for my needs, north pier 5/10 min walk away, would def stay again if I was coming to Blackpool.
My daughter and I come to Blackpool a couple of times a year to see a show or the Illuminations. We have a limited budget so we are always please when we can book the Sussex hotel. It’s not expensive and luxurious like some hotels but neither is it cheap and run down. It’s a reasonable price for comfortable clean and tidy hotel. A warm and friendly welcome by the owners, comfortable room and a superb breakfast. We will definitely stay here again.
Great stay, suited us and one of best in Blackpool. Would go back again

It's ok!
It's not a hotel , it's a bed and breakfast, I was staying there for an army reunion . Owner is a very nice fella , nice breakfast and showers were nice and hot, it's not far from a few pubs and take aways, would I stay there again , yeah, it's cheap , warm, quiet and owners a great bloke
On arrival we were greeted by the owner in a pleasant relaxed manner. He gave us the key and said we could come and go as we pleased. The lift worked and he pointed out the stairs also. Our room was quite spacious, and the bed was very comfy and clean. the furniture and bathroom were a bit retro but hed updated with modern curtains etc, which only added to its character. He recommended The North Shore Social club around the corner where we had a lovely night, with dance music, a drag act and cheap drinks. We were only about 3 minutes walk to the sea front and tram and bus stops, and about 10 minute walk to the start of the shops. Breakfast was 9am and very relaxed. We did not feel rushed to finish and get out, as we have in some hotels. We didn't hear any noise at all in, or outside the hotel, and came away feeling like we d had a rest, and would go again because of the superb location.
The room we had was big with an area with sofa and chairs to relax - décor slightly dated but was very clean and bigger than expected. Service great, friendly. can recommend.
Hotel (actually b+b) is nicely located near the north pier. Far though from the busy/loud central area but close enough to the promenade and attractions. We arrived early in the day and was allowed to check in, so great ! Room is clean but a little dated. Car parkng providedat the side of the hotel. But get there early to secure a spot.
A nice B&B, very near to the Promenade and a tram stop. Easy walk to the tower and the town centre. A nice clean room, well heated - all you need for a nights stay.
