“WILL NOT BE BACK! SERVICE DOGS ARE NOT ALLOWED! We rented 3 cabins total. It says sleeps up to 8. But when you check in they tell you that you can only have 6 people and then they charge am additional $50/ per day plus $50 resort fee. So it was an additional $200 AFTER we already paid for our 3 night stay. I felt that was very misleading. They said that's between me and Expedia since I didn't book directly through them. On the second night they also charged me $120 for having a trained task……

“Rooms were filthy. Bathroom had bugs, floor was dirty, and was a couple pieces of trash in garbage can. The TV had liquid splatter marks on it, and there were macaroni noodles and cheese dust in drawer. The lamp shade was missing. Really not impressed, pretty disappointing.”

“A beautiful place, very woodsy and up north. Clean, nice room. Hair dryer is in the closet in a hanging bag. I would have used the pool but we were too busy with party planning in the area. Very friendly staff. Plenty of free parking.”

“The hot tub had broken before we checked in, BUT the guy worked until he fixed it! Thank you! We know the facility is old, but because of that…the pool/hot tub appeared grungy.
The employees we encountered were fabulous! We did not go there to fish, but it looks like that may be what most people are there for! The restaurant was really good. Great food!”

“I really wanted to like the room and property as I love the area. But as my friend dropped me off (and thank goodness he didn’t leave right away!) I walked into what I thought was the office. However, there was a sign posted saying the check-in office is at the Pelican Bldg. I’m from out of town so I called the number, spoke to the clerk, explained my situation, and asked how to get to the check-in office. She said, “Well, I don’t know where you are so unsure how to direct you.” Really?!? How……
