“We had an absolutely wonderful experience. The place was spotless, clean and well cared for. It has all of the amenities that you could possibly need from a fully stocked kitchen to comfortable linens and thoughtful items throughout. The hosts thought of everything you could need. It felt incredibly homey and welcoming. They went above and beyond from the description of the property. We will definitely return and stay again. ”

“Very nice and equipped with everything we needed.”

“We were looking for a last minute house near the river. This was perfect. Super close to Homosassa and Crystal rivers. Outdoor area was lovely. It could use just.a couple more pieces of furniture. Overall we had a great time. ”

“We had a wonderful stay at Halls River Retreat! The house was spotless, well-equipped, and the host was incredibly responsive and helpful.The home is beautifully decorated and the beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed.The river was clear, cool, and peaceful. Kayaks are launched from the boat-slips in the backyard. We saw all kinds of fish swimming by, a family of river otters at play, and a beautiful eagle flew overhead.We also enjoyed fishing right……

“this is a very charming “old Florida” hotel that is 160 years old. It has withstood many hurricanes and weather issues over the years but remains a “grand old lady” in the heart of Cedar Key. The restaurant offers excellent dining choices for dinner only. I will definitely be staying there again in the future.”

“Definitely a great place to stay, I would say the area has some hidden gems. The river is great, but with a big family we went to Roger’s Park which I highly recommend along with Aripeka Sand hills which was a bonus adventure. Everyone morning we sat out back and watched so many species of fish just pile through the canal. Kids won’t forget this one.”
