"No early check-in, at time of check-in when they finally let us there was only one employee working with at least 25 people in line waiting to check in on a Saturday during a convention very understaffed. Our sink would not drain. The plug was broke. they only provided two towels for four people, and it was also loud and all the common areas smelled like marijuana. The only saving grace was the view and the location."

"Not everyone will live this place. It’s not the biggest and best but it is cozy and convenient. If you are a simple laid back person who can appreciate a nice comfy bed, book it. I loved the beds, the staff, free parking, little diner-like restaurant with Asian heavy menu, rooftop bar & close enuf to the Bandshell which was our daily destination for NCA NDA. It’s got a LOT of history which you can get the skinny from the GM on rooftop. Bartenders up there were so nice and talkative (if u are interested in talking) but will leave u be if that’s your vibe too. Met some locals up there too! They all feel like friends now! Lastly that view from the rooftop is amazing. Even if u don’t stay here, plan on a night to hangout up there. You WILL NOT be disappointed. If you enjoy being out but not in a crazy loud bar, you’ll appreciate that too. The lobby has free coffee and all kinds of creamer available plus there’s a coffee and pastry cart right outside. That is part of reason i describe this place as being convenient bc u can get something to eat almost whenever you want. Now the hotel advertises it’s a lively place and doesn’t lie about the amount of noise u might experience. It’s true but it didn’t bother us. if u are picky & need luxury, u might not appreciate this place. gotta have that kind of mindset!! But I certainly didn’t feel like I was settling. One more thing to note the 2nd floor has no elevator service … 5 steps to climb "
