“This stay was a treat to my husband and self. We usually stay at chain hotels. I am so thankful that I decided to do something special. Everyone and everything was just wonderful. The outside patio chairs and small tables were perfect for a light lunch and then we walked over to Steamboat Brewery for a great steak dinner. The bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve been on at a hotel.
Everything was perfect. Thank you so much for all the special treatment. ”

The excellent covered porch, quiet solitude to enjoy nature, loads of firewood ready to use, walking trails and outstanding/thorough access and instructions made this the perfect vacation stay. “Excellent location, close to Durango (10-15 minutes), but far enough out of the city. Wonderful access to hiking trails on property. Had everything we needed and more. Easy to communicate with host. The only downfall were the mice living with us. It didn't bother us too much since the host had this disclaimer, but they did get into our food and left droppings everywhere. ”
