「Great location and vibe but cleanliness needs more attention」

「I think the hotel was very nice, good price, nice pool, good breakfast. But, I staple of mine growing up was to ask if our linen could be changed so it feels like a fresh bed. I usually wait til the 2nd day to ask. I asked if someone could come by and change our bed linen. The young woman at the front to me they would as long as the “do not disturb” was not on the handle.. long story short, for the additional 2 days, the beds were not made. Unfortunate but it was the only ask」

「All in all it was a nice stay! Loved the early access to Cedar Point and how easy it was to get there from our cottage. Also, loved how all of the cottages had a deck looking out to the lake. That was my favorite place! The layout on the inside was not what I had expected from the pictures, but it was still roomy enough for a family of 2 adults and 2 teens, only staying a couple of nights.」

「We did not interact with any staff but the room was clean and it was convenient to Cedar Point. The train and street were a bit noisy but it was fine for me and my son. Pulling into the property was a little difficult due to not having good light at the driveways.」

「We stayed in a multi-bed suite. The sofa was broken and the sofa bed was very uncomfortable. The rooms were not very clean with dust everywhere. The tub was not draining properly. So when you took a shower the water was just rising up the whole time. They offered to give us a roll away bed but that was it.」

「Staff was very nice. The room was very wet and smelled of mold. The floors were damp, bedding damp, shower drain was so clogged that you were standing in gross water 1 min into the shower, stains all over the walls, over head fan was filthy and dusty, stains even on the ceiling, bathroom floor was absolutely disgusting, and at the end of one of the beds,it smelled like human urine. Don't stay there.」

「Upon arrival, we found the property very neat and tidy. Whoever takes care of the flowers, does an excellent job. (Loved the flowers!) We had no trouble with the door lock or communication with the hotel. They were helpful and responsive. The rooms look modern and appear clean enough.. until you realize that the floor leaves new socks, black. The dirty floor didn’t bother me as much as the non-working coffee machine. This place is almost great but just needs a steam mop to the floor and a new...
