"Everything was as described. The property is older but has been updated. For the price it's a good beach town hotel and has a good l location. The beach is very large in front of yhe hotel too so there is plenty of room for many people. The beach chairs and umbrellas shown in pictures are not part of the hotel and to use them it is a separate cost. We had lunch at the open air rooftop restaurant which was fun as they have swinging chairs and the food was good (bar food). There are other restaurants that are close/walkable too. Overall the front desk staff was satisfactory but only one of them was actually nice and helped us out by providing beach towels since we arrived before the official check in time. We got beach drinks at one of the bars on the ground floor and they were all very nice. We did not use the pool, it was pretty small and along the beach side sidewalk which is not private to the hotel."

"We loved our stay at Lovers Key Resort. Our room was really clean and stocked with everything we could possibly need. The resort was quiet, the pool was beautiful, our view was lovely, the staff was efficient. We loved our free pass to Lovers Key State Park, and Flipper's was a fabulous restaurant."
