"The Fujiya reeks of history and elegance. The rooms are very spacious. The ambiance is sublime. We are so pleased we stayed at this hotel. The staff and quality of service was excellent. The sauna and spa facilities were 1st class. A couple of minor issues - the beds were a touch on the firm side. And the range of choice for breakfast was limited. However, in every other respect, the Fujiya will be a highlight of our time in Japan."

"Our stay was absolutely wonderful — it truly felt like a home away from home. Everything was exactly as advertised, if not better. The room was impeccably clean and thoughtfully arranged. One of the highlights was the indoor onsen, which offered a serene and private experience with a breathtaking view of the mountains. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, tranquility, and authenticity."

"The staff were very attentive and helpful. The room was beautiful and so was the view. We really enjoyed the forest private bath, and if we’d stayed longer we would have also tried the mountain view bath. We found that the meals offered plenty of food - bordering on too much for us. We would have liked the option to pick what we wanted to eat from the days menu rather than take every dish. "
