We chose the cable cars to get there which was a fantastic way of exploring the area from above, but the hotel’s shuttle was super convenient for our departure. "

"Lovely hotel, rooms and views. Very accommodating, for a price. Comparatively expensive for the other places we stayed in Japan, but they were excellent. Designed to be a resort, it is unnecessary to leave the property but they made everything in the area very easy to access. Common area and restaurants were very pleasant spaces to relax. "

"A very nice resort. However, our stay was based on it's great location near a ropeway that allowed us to enjoy gorgeous views of Mt Fuji on a perfectly clear morning. We appreciated the front desk staff member who filled out all the necessary paperwork to get out luggage shipped to our Kyoto hotel. Since we arrived late, we decided on room service which provided a broad menu of what we discovered was quite delicious food. The next morning, the breakfast buffet had delicious selections."
