「I stayed in the middle of a heatwave, the bedroom had paper thin curtains so was woken by the light at 5am. The room was also boiling, tho they gave me a small fan. The chef had left so no food available in the evening. Breakfast were adequate (tho somehow unable to do poached eggs???) The shower was great, but the whole hotel is extremely tired and needs a huge amount of updating. It had an air of Fawlty Towers about it」

「The accommodation was absolutely spot on and I cannot recommend it enough. Easy to find, central location with parking round the corner. Joseph the host was attentive and gave clear instructions of check in etc. The room was beautifully decorated and clean. Super dog friendly too. The staff at the Seadog pub were brilliant. We even had dinner and drinks there, such a nice pub. If you’re staying in Hastings definitely book yourself in here.」

「stay here because it is very closed to the train and bus station of Hastings. the town itself doesnt have too much attractions but you can go Battle (Battle Abbey), Bodiam castle easily. Room and shared toliet is small but ok for a single backpacker」

「A great location for visiting the coast which was quiet considering how close it was to a main road. A lovely clean room with all necessary features. The breakfast was good. I would stay there again.」

「We enjoyed our one night stay in this historic pub, with free off street parking. Battle is a wonderful village full of history and we really enjoyed the evening exploring the town and enjoying the vista. The hotel is small, old and quaint. The room was small,but comfortable with a private bathroom with shower,along with complimentary tea and coffee. Would recommend this Inn for exploring this historic area of East Sussex.」
