Haw River Hotel with Pool

"Our two night stay was enjoyable up until the last morning when housekeeping came in at 11:30 AM (check out is 12 and we even had a 1 PM late checkout) and threw away everything in our room - including food in the fridge and miscellaneous stuff we picked up at the store. The cleaning person then continued to make the bed until we asked her to leave. The front desk chalked it up to miscommunication, but I'm still puzzled why our room was being cleaned before regular check out and with our belongings still in it."

"Loved it there! Clean, comfortable rooms, super friendly staff. I enjoyed the gym, jacuzzi, and pool. I had to check out early for a work conference, so I didn’t get to sit down and enjoy breakfast, but it looked good. I would 100% stay there again."

"The facility was very good. Service was very poor. The desk staff was very poor. She was talking to someone on the phone - about his upcoming stay on SPEAKER. She never looked up as we were checking out. So we just left our keys and left. No complimentary coffee in AM. There was someone sitting in the lobby that morning that just looked up at me and said “The service here is terrible”."
