“WARNING STAY AWAY: One step away from a scam!! I booked this property in advance as part of a larger vacation itinerary. There was NOTHING in the listing that said anything about being required to contact the property in advance for check in. A couple of days before check in I received an automated email saying that I was confirmed. Like most people, I opened up the booking in Expedia the morning of check in to see what the address and instructions for check in were. Little to my knowledge,……

“The little guy was so cute and exactly as advertised. Check in was fast and easy. The shared shower and toilet block wasn’t as far away as I thought. It was all very clean and always available when needed. Great view from the hut too.”

“We had an amazing 2 nights in yurt Freya. Rick was a thoughtful and friendly host who really made us feel welcome and ensured we had everything we needed. The space itself is beautiful with many fun little touches, and we were extremely comfortable during our stay. The breakfast each day was also amazing. If you are looking at this listing and thinking you might enjoy staying in a funky little space like this, I absolutely recommend it as a base of operations for your southern Iceland/golden……
