“The room was smaller than expected, it was basically just a bed and a balcony but it had a great view. There was AC, laundry, and 2 washrooms that were shared which was nice. It did get a bit loud at night and my room was right by the front door so it was also loud whenever people went in and out. So overall not the bestest experience compared to an actual hotel, but still not the worst. The location was okay too, central to everything but the abandoned building next door had some awful writing……

“The property was well kept and clean, the checking in process however could not have been more confusing, stressful, and unprofessional. We were asked to contact the host 20mins before arrival(we did) and we sent an additional reminder to be helpful and respect her time, yet it was clear she didn’t respect ours. Not only does the address not show up on maps(any version),but she left two women basically stranded on a corner on a random street in Madrid waiting for her to let us in. when she did……

“The space was perfect for our family of 4. The hosts recommendations were very helpful and the host himself was super accommodating. Having AC during the heat wave was also a big win! Would stay there again if visiting that region of Spain in the future.”

“The property is well prepared, clean and spacious. The host is easy to communicate with and very attentive. What it is needed to be understood is the location of the apartment. The entrance is right on the street, it can be loud and with a lot of people smoking right in front of the door, which can create a breathing hazard. Also the zone can be perceived as unsafe, although we didn’t have any problems.”

“The room itself is a great central location & the rooms a nice size. The check in process was stressful. They have you download an app before to access the door which we did, but did not receive the passkey for it at check in time like we were supposed to. Took about 40 minutes to get in the door on support call with VRBO, but once they got us in it went pretty smooth. The door lock on the property door is also finicky. Sometimes would take 3-4 times to actually unlock, but overall the place is……

“The location is great. It's convenient to walk to nearby attractions and eateries. The unit has heating and cooling through the floor, which is unfortunately inadequate to cool the bedrooms. There's a washer/dryer combo, which is one of the reasons we chose it. There is no laundry detergent and no instructions on how to use it. We bought our own detergent and watched YouTube on how to use it. Our clothes went through a 90-minute wash cycle, followed by a 3-hour drying cycle. They came out worse……

“Loved staying at this apartment in Lavapies. Co no ng home to the cuteness at the end of our days of exploring was lovely. The cuteness of the patio, the snugness of the bedroom and the cleanliness were all appreciated. We also enjoyed the short walk to Atoche for our day trip adventures, to restaurants for yummy tapas, and to beautiful street art, a passionate hobby of mine. Check-in was a breeze, Hans allowed us to check-in directly from our overnight flight and was waiting our arrival when we……

“This was an amazing apartment! It was very spacious for a group of four and located on a quiet side street. We were within walking distance of many attractions, parks, shops, and restaurants. There were several great cafes and places to have a drink within just a minute walk from the building. The host was incredibly helpful and responded quickly whenever we had questions. We would happily stay here again!”
