「The best host EVER: quick responses, accommodating, and went beyond expectations (set up a Christmas tree!). The cabin is beautifully decorated, well-stocked with nice dishes and cookware and coffee-making optionsu. Some downsides are that the upstairs bedrooms are not separated by a door and there’s only one bathroom, but kitchen and bath recently remodeled. 」

「The property is GORGEOUS. My husband and I got married in Alabama hills and he and my family and I rented both the east and west wind properties. The location is beautiful and the outdoor bathtubs are worth the stay alone. My only change would be to fully enclose the toilet in the west wind and put up glass in the shower to keep in the steam/heat. Even then, it’s still an amazing property. 」

「It was a fabulous place. It’s much bigger than it looks like in the pictures. It was very clean & had all the essentials & more. Jill was an excellent host & was always a phone call away. 「The cute cabin was very clean and the description was accurate. Love that it was pet-friendly. Check in was easy and the detailed instructions for driving there were easy to follow. Nice walk up the (very quiet) road with gorgeous views, into the NP (closed to cars). It is quite remote so driving out and into the NP by the main gate takes about 30 minutes. Kitchenette was well equipped. The one thing we would have changed was more blankets on the bed - it was a thin coverlet and was not clear...

「Excellent location for visiting Sequoia and Kings Canyon NP. The host was attentive, the room was perfect with a fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and place settings for 2. I just hope the toilet paper was chosen for the septic system and not because they wanted that brand. I am glad I arrived in the daylight, the short dirt road in would be tricky in the dark the first time. Dining recommendations were spot on - good food, very friendly service, and close by. I wouldn't hesitate to book here...

"This hotel is trash. We had no electric and water from 10 pm to 8am. It was very hot. When we came here, we were told that the power outage would last 30 minutes to 1 hour. It was miserable. Their internet was very hard to connect too. Ran into many problems."
