Popular neighborhood with a lot of character
The place is located in Queen's Crescent, a neighborhood with a lot of character. There are small grocery stores and small restaurants all around, even across the street. On weekends, they close the street and there is a little market with clothes vendors and other products. It is about A 10-minute walk from the train station and about 2 minutes away from the bus stop. Camden Town is the next stop on the train and it is a very busy, commercial neighborhood with countless stores and restaurants, including Camden Market. London city center is about 20 minutes on the train. We were able to get anywhere pretty easily using the Northern Line, although it can be confusing at times. As far as the apartment itself, it is ok. It was very clean, it needs a few repairs, no air conditioning (but we opened the windows), it has a washing machine but no dryer. You have to use the drying rack. We had no issue drying our clothes because the weather was so hot for London during the week we were there. In general, it is a good deal, great centric location.
