「I booked a sea view room. Stunning views over the Promenade. Look, it’s a very old hotel, so maintenance is needed constantly. Creaking floor boards and dated corridors. That comes with the territory. My room was superb, clean and bright. I was pleasantly surprised by the breakfast (12.50) if a walk in. Piping hot, good selection, spotlessly clean. Comfortable bed, nice and quiet, very helpful reception staff.」

「We were a group of 10 persons, occupied 5 rooms for staying 2 nights. The hotel generally speaking is a good hotel, with clean and comfortable rooms. However, two of the rooms were found problem in water supply for bathing where only hot (very hot) water supply but no cold water for the shower. When asking for repairing service in the late night, the reply was unfavourable. Until the next morning, only one room could be fixed while the other was settled by changing another room for my friends.」

「I had a very disappointing experience with this booking. The apartment was in poor condition, felt uninhabitable, and did not match the description or photos on the listing. Basic standards of cleanliness and safety were not met, which made the stay extremely uncomfortable. This experience fell far below expectations, and I would not recommend it. I am still awaiting a fair resolution and refund」

「Josie was very friendly and welcoming. Very attentive and couldnt do enough. We were offered a much needed hot drink on arrival which was brought to our room. Our room was very clean, more than enough tea, coffee etc, it even had dressing gowns. Little touches of Usb points on plugs and even a little chocolate each. We felt veey welcomed.」

「Once again!! a super stay at the Clifton Villa, right from pulling up and having a parking space & meeting the host when arriving. The room was super spacious and comfortable. After travelling 6hrs it was refreshing to have coffee in my room. 」

「Michael was a great host advising on places to eat and finding our bearings.The room was very clean and comfortable with fresh milk and filtered water in the fridge which was most welcome.The Braemar is very well located for the town minutes from restaurants pubs ect and short walk to the prom.Great stay would return thank-you」
