“The room was spacious and clean. Since it’s a vintage building, there are some areas that show wear and tear. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The parking in the rear was secure. On Saturday night, it was full. There are a few shops near by, but the main advantage is the proximity of a Q-Line stop. This opens up access along Woodward Ave. The main drawback is lack of elevators for upper floors. The room also did not have a refrigerator, but the staff did offer use of a refrigerator by……

“Room was great. However, I was charged a higher rate than advertised, and have not head back from Expedia nor the hotel about this.”

“The entire house was slanted, making it difficult to walk up the stairs, which were already fairly steep. One friend left with unspecified bug bites on her leg, several of us had reddish and brown stains on our mattresses, and one persons was flipped over to hide said stains. Floor came up a bit in the kitchen on our first night there and a friend got a scratch on her foot from it. Trash was also not taken out when we arrived. Decorations were nice, and towels, sheets and dishes were included,……

“The Cochrane Inn is run by a pair of wonderful sisters, Rica and Winky. I arrived at the Inn way ahead of the check-in time and was exhausted due to the longhaul flight. They offered me complimentary breakfast and accompanied me while I was waiting in the lobby. The room was clean and comfortable. This was my first time being able to fall asleep on a hotel bed without the help of melatonin pills! The Cochrane Inn is truly a magical house to me!  Thank you for the awesome stay once again, Rica……

“OMG this place is the BEST!! Food options are amazing. Try the drinks, salad, onion soup at Le Suprême. Explore the whole joint…rooftop, gym, lounges on 2 and 14. Easy walk to all sports venues. Friendly, helpful. I could live here and some do!”
