「Overall, I had a good stay at the Super 8 in Slidell, with one significant disappointment. After 12 hours of driving, the woman at the front desk was exactly the kind of person you appreciate being greeted by. 「We stayed a single night at the hotel, and if you are looking for a cheap stay this is the one. Just know this is unlike any hotel you’ve ever stayed at , the tv has no remote, bathroom has no towels or soap, beds do not look clean at all. But it was cheap and just needed somewhere to shower and nap for a few hours.」

「Although hotel has jsut renovated, there is no shampoo provided in the room, it's by request! No hair dryer, no hanger provided, no kettle in the room to make tea/coffee. The facility is poor. Hotel staff is not very helpful.」

「This building needs to be torn down. While our room had been somewhat updated, the entire location is old and felt unsafe. I would not recommend this location. 」

「The outside may not look like much but the rooms was very clean with beds and pillows very comfortable! The restaurant that’s in the same park lot May-be is definitely worth going too! Fresh seafood and great staff!」

「The gentleman at the front desk was really nice but the cleanliness of the rooms is absolutely horrendous. It feels like we’re living in the Third World country. Motel 6 used to be one of the cleanest motels in the whole United States. You could always count on them for cleanliness, Cheap rooms, and great service. I don’t know who took over ownership, but whoever did is destroying all of their properties one by one they’re making it look like a Third World country.」
