“The grounds and the winery here at Hessenland are beautiful. We loved being able to walk around and explore the gardens and lovely seating areas. The outdoor pool was a refreshing treat during this heat wave. The food and drink was fabulous and the staff wonderful, friendly, welcoming and helpful. We found the inn itself dated and tired looking. The rooms and sitting areas could use with an update and refresh like the rest of the property has had. On the whole though we enjoyed our stay.”

The rooms/each building are kept so nice and the beds are so comfortable! 10/10 experience. Parking is right beside which ever building you are in, easy and short walk to your room (especially nice in the winter as it was a chilly one)!”

“Clean rooms, beautiful pool and bar, security is weird and creepy make sure you get dressed in the bathroom in your hotel room the old bald security guard walked right into my room. Wasn’t even aware they had copies of room keys. Scary!!!! ”

“The place is good, surrounded by several retirement houses, and located next to Western University. However, it takes a 5 minute walk uphill form the nearest bus station, and it is a bit difficult to locate. The facility is fine except the heating is not functioning, it was too dry and too hot, in which I have to leave the window open throughout the night for making myself a little more comfortable. ”

“Check in was seamless. The King Suite was large and spotless. The pool area was well maintained, the slide was closed. While this is an older hotel, it was very well maintained. You couldn’t turn a corner in the common areas without seeing someone polishing door handles, cleaning the bathrooms and the glass overlooking the pool. Great stay. ”
