"Great location and the space itself has potential, but the experience with the host and the condition of the unit was disappointing. The host did not respond to any messages before or during our stay when we tried to address several concerns. At one point, a man entered the space unannounced saying he was there to fix the smoke alarm, which was concerning since we had not been notified. When I contacted the owner about this, they did not reply. On the second morning, the smoke detector started...

"We really enjoyed our 4-night stay in the Gatsby suite. It’s clean, beautifully decorated, well-stocked and very comfortable. "Stayed here with family and overall had a really good experience. The biggest highlight was definitely the location it’s very close to Old Montreal, Chinatown, transit, restaurants, and many tourist attractions, which made getting around super convenient without needing a car. We stayed in the suite room for 6 occupants and found it spacious enough for our stay. The room was clean overall and the bathroom was decent as well. The front desk staff were helpful throughout the visit, and we also appreciated being able to store our luggage after checkout. Breakfast was fairly standard, but one thing that could definitely be improved is separating the bacon farther from the eggs and hash browns since people were using the same utensils between items. Also, the breakfast area chairs are extremely loud when moved. One downside was the shower water pressure the water flow was very slow and there wasn’t much water coming out, which made showering less comfortable and time consuming. Overall, a solid stay with a great central location and very helpful staff. I would consider staying again when visiting Montreal."
