"In central location. We stayed in the suite #7 which was basic and subpar at best. No hot water when showering, plumbing was old and the toilet was not secure to the ground. There was a rainfall overnight and through the morning and water leaked into the unit through the floor that got clothing, suitcases and shoes wet. The amenities in the central lobby/kitchen is ok but no dishwashing liquid to wash cups that we wanted to use, and the free coffee is a tiny machine that all units share. Only recommend if you’re here for one night due to location but don’t expect to be staying in a nice room if booking this specific room."

"It was a very quaint, traditional Old San Juan hotel. I found it charming but people used to luxury would not appreciate it. Very convenient for walking and touring Old San Juan. "

"If you like a place with uncomfortable beds, dingy unkempt rooms and little or no hot water, then this is your hotel! After two days of super short like luke warm showers and almost no sleep due to traffic noice, pedestrians screaming while walking by and city trash trucks, we are happy to be gone. Recommend carefully reading the reviews on this place. That said, the location is nice and the young staff are pleasant. Their argument that the hotel is do old it can’t have the proper infrastructure needs refinement. A hotel should be clean, provide hot water and muffle at least some of the noise from other rooms, the hall and the street. "
