「My family and I had the great pleasure of spending part of our summer holidays at Windermere House this July, and it was everything we hoped it would be—and more. This historic resort, originally built in 1870, carries a rich legacy. Although it tragically burned down in 1996 during the filming of a movie, it was impressively rebuilt within a year to match the original design. Since then, it has been thoughtfully renovated multiple times. What you get is the best of both worlds: timeless charm...

「We only stayed one night but wish we could have stayed longer. Our room was so comfortable and clean with a great view of the lake. We will definitely return for a longer stay.」

「Easy to get to the property. Less than 5 minutes from the 400 highway. The property is clean. There is an LCBO right across the street. The restaurant food was excellent at both restaurants. A nice general store across the street. 」
