“Delightful visit to The George and Dragon! Friendly and obliging staff, great pub, room and breakfast. Rooms renovated to a high standard and beautifully furnished. Loved the windows which could be opened to cool the room and bonus bath to relax in. Friendly bar staff when we had a drink in the pub before bed and lovely lady served us at breakfast. Really impressed and highly recommend a stay. 10/10”

“This is a great place to stay! The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was large compared to many places we’ve stayed at, it is a very quiet neighborhood yet an easy walk to town, and the breakfast is excellent! We only got the continental breakfast (which can come with porridge or overnight oats), but Sue puts out a gorgeous fruit bar with yogurt and a variety of other toppings that we feasted on (her hot breakfast menu looks awfully good too). We look forward to our return there after……

“Overall my stay was satisfactory, but the level of noise coming from back of house staff late at night was appalling. My room was directly above the kitchen/loading area and it was honestly unbelievable how much noise the staff were making "cleaning up" in the evening, consistently from about 8pm-11:30pm when I had enough. It was like they were literally throwing metal containers around and shouting across the space at full volume. I live in central London and have never experienced disruption……
