"The front desk staff was amazing. The ENGINEERING staff needs work. Our room didnt have a dehumidifier, was a little musty and dank from lack of dehumidifier. I notify front desk, they said they'll let engineering know. No problem. Well, a few hours pass so i let them know again, same thing. About 11pm I call AGAIN, same answer. The next day I called, then just walked to the front desk and ask whats going on. They apologized profusely (again the front desk ppl were GREAT) and radio engineering. The guy finally shows up and starts off asking why i want a HUMIDIFIER, then after says "just use air conditioner it will help". After explaining that NO, it doesn't, he says "oh we don't have any. Was supposed to be in yesterday but will be in tomorrow. There are none." I let him know that I'll just go change rooms then. He says "okay fine, go change room". So yea, I walk back to the front lobby and they changed rooms immediately and apologize again for the hassle (great front desk staff). I explain my interaction, they apologize again and get on the radio with engineering as i walked out. I go to our old room to make sure we didnt leave anything and LO AND BEHOLD A FRIGGIN DEHUMIDIFIER is suddenly there that they "didnt have". So yea the older, yellow jacket wearing "engineer" dude simply didn't want to do his job. Everything else was fine, pool/hot tub are great and front staff was awesome. Drinks at the bar are spot on....I was just chapped by "engineering""

"The location was great. We enjoyed the heated pool and convenience of RideShare to all the Universal Parks. The beds were super comfy. It was family vacation, 5 of us visiting from Toronto, and we highly recommend. The best part was the staff and service and amazing breakfast, quite the selection ! Thank you to the entire staff for making our stay welcoming ."

"The room itself was spacious but dated. The couch in the room was a little grimy but serviceable. The bed was very comfortable, however the pillow were nothing to write home about. The TV in the room was very much dated and had poor picture quality in comparison to newer sets however, I was not there to watch TV and atleast they offered a variety of channels. The continental breakfast they offer was quite horrible in that it lack options. They offered instant oatmeal, white bread, some type of muffin and fruit loops and frosted flakes. They had the typical waffle maker for waffles, along with coffee, tea bags and what my daughter considered water down orange juice. I understand the review comes off as negative but overall my experience was great, the staff was great just don't come into this hotel expecting luxury or anything special. It was serviceable and accomplished what they set out to do, which is provide a room at an affordable price."
