“Highly recommend this hotel. You will not be disappointed. Its worth the slight inconvenience of having to park in one of the 3 or 4 nearby car parks which are run by bandits.”

“This is an ancient, historic hotel. Be mindful of the fact that you are staying here more for the character and historical significance then for the comfort. Stairways are small and steep and parking - went available at all - is challenging. That said, however, the staff is very friendly and helpful and we enjoyed our one night stay.”

Hot water was very intermittent, I was told it needs to run for 15 mins before getting warm, but I ran it for much longer than that and still had to have cold showers every morning. Breakfast was overpriced for what it was. Great location and friendly staff. ”
