“Great house. We were met upon check in and showed how everything works. Very clean, great location and superb communication.”

“Pros: gorgeous views, public beach access next door, great family space (everyone had their own room), good location (near downtown, restaurants, and parks), cool fireplace, well stocked kitchen, and responsive hosts. Cons: ‘whole house’ means the top floor apartment of a 3-story house shared with two full-time tenants, one of whom was grumpy and scolded us for using the common beach umbrellas (?); no board games or beach equipment is provided; check-in was late (4pm) and check out was early……

“My teenage daughter and I stayed at this property for spring break. The set up was absolutely perfect for us. The neighborhood is wonderful and walkable, the property was clean and well-appointed, and there’s a beautiful outdoor space. We appreciated being within walking distance of great restaurants, grocery stores, and Balboa Park. Our stay was quiet and we spent wonderful evenings resting up at the property after long days adventuring around San Diego. The host was easy to reach and allowed……

“This home was one of the best vacation rentals we have experienced as a family. It was well designed and felt special as part of our vacation. I am so impressed with the small details that really made it feel like home, particularly for young children. Night lights, child-available toilet seat, bunk beds, and kid-sized utensils were unexpected but so appreciated. The backyard is beautiful and a great spot for congregating- the fire pit was lovely on cooler San Diego nights! Tom was a great host……

“The rooms were very clean location was ok, but parking was hard to find on the street, on property you could park one car, but getting out you had to watch on coming traffic when you back out. Overall my stay was outstanding, Chanel has a nice house”

“The ADU was in a great central location in La Jolla. We were concerned about a large stain on the comforter that appeared to be poop that is why we rated less for cleanliness and value for money. I would like to be contacted about this matter as I can follow up with a photo. Thank you ”
