Beautiful quaint little beach community that has an old beach town feel. The white beaches are gorgeous and not super crowded. We visited in July which is peak vacation time in FL. It was lovely. Highly recommend.

We first visited Siesta key 27years ago and 20 years ago with our children. So lovely to go back and see the area and find Captain Curt restaurant still there. They have developed the area but still great for a winter or summer holiday

The area took quite a hit from the hurricanes but everywhere and everyone we interacted with (except one company) was positive and very welcoming. It was during the cold/rainy spell in January when we were there but we still had an enjoyable time.

We loved the chill vibe and quality food and shops. Just about everything we ate was delicious. The Souvenir shops had quality stuff. The island is pretty pricey though so be prepared.

Unfortunately, the beach was covered with dead fish during our stay, due to Red Tide.
"This is a beautiful place! The apartment was spotless, comfortable, and wonderfully quiet — a true relaxing getaway.
The only downside (and I truly mean the only one) was the beach experience. While the beach itself is private and lovely, getting a spot with chairs and an umbrella was unnecessarily complicated. The beach attendants (Doing their jobs) wouldn’t allow us to sit in the area that supposedly belongs to the complex unless we rented their chairs and umbrellas. We already pay to stay here, so being told we couldn’t enjoy that part of the beach without additional rental fees felt… strange.
Suggestion: At the pool, it would be helpful to post signs reminding guests about noise levels. This weekend, there was a large group playing very loud music. The office staff came twice to ask them to lower it, which unfortunately led to unpleasant cursing. Of course, that’s not the hotel’s fault — it’s simply a shame when some guests don’t know how to behave in shared spaces.
Overall, the property is beautiful and well-maintained, and I would gladly return — hopefully with a smoother beach experience next time.

"Hands down, best VRBO stay for the beach. Easy communication, our host went above and beyond and communicated as often as we needed, before, during and after our stay. Accommodating is an understatement. Whatever local needs I had, he was quick to reply and offer suggestions. The location was great, beautiful private beach on siesta key. We Spent so much time at the beach, we didn’t get a chance to enjoy the pool. We would definitely stay here again. "
