“We had a phenomenal experience with the general manager Lisa and her chef. Very hospitable and knowledgeable for the downtown St Augustine area. You felt like you're at home and they made you feel very comfortable and the place was immaculate. I highly recommend staying here. We wish we had an extra day. We will definitely come back. “Well let’s start with before we even arrived on site!! It said room number and access to room would be emailed prior to arrival, which did not happen! Called number listed on site left several voice messages with no response back. Attempted to call on our drive up to St. Augustine and still no response or answer on the phone. When we arrive, someone was waiting to help us check into the room. After settling in tempted to log into Wi-Fi access with no results password was wrong. There were no……

“Unfortunately the fire alarm went off.We were in a handicap room. They did not have a plan. Security was to assist it but there was no security at that time of day.They were nonchalant since they knew there was no fire. Guest s did not know that and there is no PA system.If there was a fire it could have been disastrous. Hotel is fine and respects the era. ”

“Nice breakfast on the porch was great way to start the day. Steep stairs to second floor but you could request a first floor room. Parking is a 5 block walk away but free and you can drop your luggage at the B&B to not have to schlep it. Staff is very friendly.”

“Possibly the freshest-smelling, comfiest bed I've slept in. We enjoyed three nights here on spring break. The breakfast & happy hour deliveries were the cherry on top! So nice to return to after exploring the city or the beach (5-10 min away). The staff were so accommodating to us. Our trip coincided with a cold snap — so the comfy couches & lounge areas upstairs on the deck were just the place. Hope to return!”

“Parking was off site but a short walk which provided a chance to see some other St Augustine streets. Breakfast was wonderful and filling. Best prep for a full day of walking the streets and seeing the sites. ”

Hard to find anyone to do anything - no front desk staff at all. Room not available on time. Very onerous cancellation and change policies. Not worth the cost AT ALL - stay somewhere else!”

“Everything was great except I took a bad fall walking down the steep stairs at night and didn’t see the last step so it would have been good for the stairs to have some sort of lighting right on the steps or at the bottom to prevent falls”
