「We spent a pleasant night here with a very spacious room and comfortable bed, although the bathroom felt a touch old-fashioned. Our evening meals, in the bar, were OK, nothing special, although service was quite slow, and for some reason we couldn’t use a Greene King drink voucher despite it being a Greene King pub ! 「staff were pleasant enough, but we stayed in the honeymoon suite which as you walk in has a carpeted area with a wardrobe, a sink in the corner, a shower (no curtain) and a jacuzzi bath??? The door to the left has a toilet and the door to the right has a four post bed, tv & side cabinets. Breakfast was nice as had a fry-up but waited a while for a member of staff to notice that we'd entered the room & also that another couple had come in. When food was served he disappeared again so asking for...

「This was the 4th time staying at the George and for the last 2 times ive a room with a very small tv. So s.all on this stay that watching the football i had difficulty seeing who was who and were the ball was. Otherwise the staff are friendly the meal i had very good. Next time unless i have a room with the bigger tv screen i wont be able to book. Neil」
