「The hotel is currently undergoing a well-needed renovation. My television did not work the entire weekend, and the room was really dilapidated! I asked the General Manager for some type of return compensation, but since I booked through Expedia, he was not able to do so. Is Expedia able to give me some type of return compensation???」

「My husband and I wanted a halfway point stay traveling to our family beach vacation in Topsail Beach, NC. We didn’t particularly want a stay at a generic hotel in VA. This gem popped up and I booked it! I’m so glad that I did! The cottage was amazing… waterfront on a little creek! It was immaculately clean and the decor was beautiful! 「Unfortunately, this hotel is quite rundown. The windows were so filthy you couldn’t see out, the furniture was beat up and the carpet old and dirty. I was there for 7 nights on business and my room was only vacuumed once. One time they took the dirty towels out and didn’t replace them. The drink machines were not working on two floors, when I asked the front desk if they knew about this, they shrugged. Poor customer service and a poorly managed property.」
