"My room was near the entrance, can hear ppl talking outside. Room inside has the humid smell, need to adjust the ventilation. Nearby has no food places, hotel restaurant close at 9pm, we reached at 9.30pm and can’t find anything to eat. Breakfast only has little choices. But the staffs are super friendly and helpful, assisted me to make the room more comfortable. Btw, the power point are designed very low, closed to table platform, my power adapter has no space to plug in, can’t use it"

"This hotel is probably one of my favourites to visit. Everything is just easy from check-in to parking to communicating with staff. Parking is not undercover but thats no issue. The hotel always smells super clean wherever you are. Best blackout curtains and comfortable beds. Been visiting this hotel for about 3 plus years now and its nice to see the same staff members, there is an icon that works down in the bar and restaurant honestly all round top guy. Novotel Sydney West HQ Hotel

"The room was spacious, clean and well maintained - ideal for families with young children. The hotel personnel, Garmina, who checked us in was professional and genuinely wanted to help me with my queries. I can't say the same for other front desk staff I encountered throughout my short stay as they seemed more keen to avoid eye contact. There was ample parking available - sheltered hotel parking is limited but there were more open air parking lots. There were also a lot of parking available at the multi-storey carpark in West HQ, which was just a stone's throw away from the hotel. The only two downside parts to the property were that the swimming pool and gym were not located within the hotel but a 5-minute walk, and there was only one parking lot available for electric vehicle charging. There was one more spot with an electrical power outlet next to it, but the power outlet was not functioning. DIning options are aplenty with the West HQ RSL club just next door. Overall, it was a pleasant stay."

"The room was okay it was clean, pillows need refreshing as there feathered out and I did not get the wifi password but that’s ok as I was there for one very short night, ohh and the check in manager lacked customer service."

"Room and bed were alright. Check in was self done. Staff barely acknowledged us. We were put on the ground floor which was close to a function room that had a live band playing. We were not told about this or given an option if we didn’t want to be near the room. When I went to ask about it I was ignored by the bar staff for about 5 minutes until I butted in. There was no one on reception. I was told the band was playing till 10 but they would ask them to turn it down. The noise level didn’t change and the band kept going until after 10. Lady on reception at check out was on her phone and was abrupt. Quite disappointing considering we’ve stayed before and it’s been good."

"For a budget cabin and I didn't have high expectations, I was very impressed....Clean, comfortable, with a bed to die for....plenty of hot water , wonderful fluffy, soft towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand wash and body lotion....lux....hairdryer, large fridge..nothing was missing... Highly recommend Avina Van Village for your next stay...🌟"
