「First and foremost, host is as kind as they come, so it makes it hard to write this review. The « building » is an old garage, which could be cool BUT, it is pretty old ( not in a quaint way) and very dirty. Spiderweb everywhere, dust, stuff (hoarder style). The bathroom, if we can call it that, is upstairs. A dirty piece of carpet welcomes you upstairs. The shower is a plastic box and the toilet next to it is extremely low and small. 「We just needed a place to sleep while visiting our son in Discovery Bay. Very clean room with a mini fridge and microwave (bring utensils if you brought snacks). We ended up exploring the bay on the kayaks and paddle board in the evening and it was a beautiful and easy ride. The patio is spacious with comfortable seating.
