"The Captain Cook is clean and in a quiet area. You escape the tourist crowds and the rates are a real bargain, too. The pub below the rooms served great food and the buses to downtown London and the tube were very convenient. Plus, the Mil Kitchen around the corner served a great breakfast. We will be going back when visiting London. Also, the staff members were super friendly. "

Premier Inn Heathrow Airport Terminal 4

10/10 Excellent

"There is a covered walkway/bridge to the hotel from the airport. It took me a while to find it, because the signage wasn’t obvious, and it wasn’t clear in the hotel info (I think it’s referred to as the ‘pod’?). This was totally not the hotel’s fault. My flight got in just before 11 pm, and there is no one at Heathrow to help with information, and also no taxi service (which I thought I needed). I’m pretty familiar with Heathrow, and have taken buses, Tube, and taxis to and from there on numerous occasions — which was good, because I had to change terminals to get to the hotel!— but that night was one of the two worst airport experiences of my life. When I got to the Premiere Inn, the staff were so helpful, and the room so comfortable, that all the frustration from the awful LHR experience just disappeared. Oh— my bathroom also had the most luxurious deep tub. I’ll be making this my go-to hotel at Heathrow"
