“This is a resort like hotel where big tour groups stay. Overall we were pleased with the location and comfort. There were minor things that were not working such as treadmills and some ice machines but as a whole we enjoyed our stay and would stay again. Specifically their continental breakfast is more than that. Their location is in walking distance to Colonial Williamsburg. Our room was spacious and the bed comfortable. What Expedia doesn’t tell you is that there are about $30 per day……

“The staff were phenomenal. I couldn't ask for better customer service. I realized this is a budget choice but the breakfast was pretty lacking, I only drank the coffee because the rest was basically just low quality white carbohydrates. The room was not super well maintained. There were issues with the room that were not in good working order. For example, the bathroom door didn't close all the way which didn't matter for me since I was staying there by myself but would have mattered if I had……

“This hotel has absolutely massive rooms by today's standards and shares all amenities with the much more expensive Williamsburg Inn and Williamsburg lodge. The tradeoffs are that you will not have a front desk and the furniture and finishes are much older. The reality, however, is that the tradeoffs are 100% worth it. The cost is half that of the Lodge and half to 1/4 of the cost of the Inn. You can still use the pool, spa, tennis courts, fitness facilities, concierge, ticket discounts, and……
