"The staff at the front desk upon check in were lovely. During our stay, Betty was amazing. She was always sooo friendly and kind. She was eager to help in any way (my Garmin watch needed charging a couple of times durong our stay and she was eager to help out). Rooms were cleaned daily if required. Food was very good, pricey though. Breakfast was included but it was just ok. Mixed Drinks were crazy expensive - not many drank by us. Beer was ok priced. Lots of sargassum at the beach, and they only cleaned it up when there was an event planned from outside the hotel. Beach and amenities were lovely though. Just prepare - you can not flush TP anywhere in tulum. It must be deposited in the garbage cans. "

"Literally on the beach, in the area of boutique hotels which are usually smaller and higher value in terms of service and customers. The hotel is a little gem hosted in a luxuriant area. The room is huge with a view on the sea with strong wifi and a safe, no AC but you don t need one, the night breeze cools the room pretty well. The stafd is absolutely awesome, the breakfast was also good! Highly recommended"

"Great place to stay in the Tulum hotel zone if you’re looking to relax. The hotel is quiet and away from the busier/loud clubs. However, you are still able to walk down the beach to some of the beach clubs. The rooms are beautiful and very clean. The beds are very comfortable. The room was equipped with a Nespresso machine and mini bar. The pools in the room are beautiful and clean. Unfortunately, they are not heated so it was too cold for us to use during our stay. The hotel has great cabanas for guests to use on the beach and staff down on the beach to take orders. The hotel has a very small lot so recommend a small car or bike/scooter. "

"My stay at Shibari was amazing. It was hard to leave this place as it was such a unique and truly magical spot. The included breakfast is top notch and the service was amazing. The only negative thing about it is on the weekends you can get some noise from the nearby clubs until 2am. This doesn’t bother me as I often wear ear plugs when I sleep. And any hotel near the club zone has this same problem so it’s just a downside to staying within walking distance of that zone. I would definitely stay here again. "

"Adorable cabins with incredibly comfy beds, great bar and restaurant, charming activities and a superb staff. We loved every second of our stay - both the super fun Sunday afternoon DJ party, and the quiet evenings by the beach. We'd love to come back!"
